Ψ Town Square - Fountain Area Ψ
Jack arrives back to Halloween Town, but the place looks rather deserted. Three skeletons appear, and though Jack is friendly with them, they attack him.
♣ Defeat the skeletons.
As Jack beats them up, we can hear an announcement made by Oogie Boogie about taking the town over, and renaming it to Oogie-Town. Meanwhile more skeletons appear.

Mr. Hyde appears by the Town Hall entrance. You can always save the game by talking to him. However, when there are enemies nearby, he disappears.

As Jack enters Town Hall, inside a big black shadow appears in front of him, a shadow, with a familiar voice. It's Oogie Boogie!
Boss Battle - Shadow Oogie
His main attack is throwing his dice at you. These are pretty easy to dodge, if you watch out for them. Pay attention to the lyrics. He always throws them at you during the lines "Well, well, well! Jack, the Pumpkin King!", then during the musical interlude part after "Just who do you think you are?", then during the lines "That's what you think! Hah!", then "Heh, that's funny Jack, it was a dream!". Between these, just keep attacking him with the Soul Robber.
He also has some ghosts: just turn away from them to lure them closer. Only care about them, when they are close enough to you (as in by doing spinning attacks). This will get you a lot of music notes, and it will also get them killed easily.
Another good chance to get notes is when Oogie's song's "Whoa oh!"ish parts start. Go close to him and keep attacking and spinning - there will be two ghosts rising up, and again, they give you a lot of notes when you spin against them. But look out, after the second ghost "Whoa oh!" you should start jumping away where there is enough space to dodge around, because those two ghosts will drop some big dice on you.
By this time you should have been able to trigger a dance, if not, after those have fallen, just start attacking Oogie again.
After beating him, his shadow disappears, taunting Jack to find him.

Tips & Hints
Everytime you examine the fountain, you get healed, and you can fill up your bottle(s) with healing water. Later on when you drink these, you get healed again.
If you don't take your time to explore other places now, and get to dance against Oogie soon enough, your time rank should be S without any problem.
In Easy mode, to get an S combo count, it is enough if you do the dance(s) correctly. In Normal and Nightmare mode, just get the second bunch of Blue Skeletons by only using  and spinning attacks, that will be enough.
The best source for getting some  is the dances against Oogie. It is enough to do those correctly.
