Everybody that I know who was a die-hard Twi-hard isn't anymore.

It's gotten waaaaay too outta hand, with people wearing those gay shirts from Hot Topic and not even seeing the movie or reading the book.

My best friend and I have moved back onto Harry Potter, because most of the fans are mature and don't dream about sparkly*GAY*vampires all day. Most of the old Twilighters, if you've noticed, have hopped back onto the Harry Potter train, or, Hogwarts Express.

At my new school, I've seen quite a mix of Twilighters and Harry Potters, dueling it out a lunch between who's hotter: Jacob or Draco.

Harry Potter since 1991
Twilight since 2006

I've been a fan of HP since 2002, and I send not regrets to people who prefer Twilight. In a few months, you'll chnage your mind.

I watched the movie. Didn't read the book. It's great for romance, but the sparkly vampire crap killed it for me.

I mean I busted out laughing when Edward sparkled.

I thought he was sweating. My friends thought he was beautiful.

It's disturbing when your mom says that Robert Pattinson and Zac Efron are her celebrity crushes.

Me: Mom, who's your celebrity crush?
Mom: Rob Pattinson!
Me: ...Why...?
Mom: Because he's sexy
Me: I like Rupert Grint and Tom Felton.
Mom: Ew. Red hair and crooked teeth. Ugh.
Me: AT LEAST MINE AREN'T DRUNK PLAYERS! O.O
Mom: o_O

Yeah. I do too *vomits*

Zac Efron was pretty damn hilarious in 17 Again, though.

Ned: If you're gonna be my fake son, we have to go shopping.
Mark: Why?
Ned: Because I am not going to let my 'son' look, like a...douche.
Mark: I don't look like a douche!
Passing kid: What a douche.

Anyway: Back to the sucky book!

New Moon's coming out on November. Oooh. Ahh. Can I go now?
My friends want me to go, but, I don't want to. But, I kind of owe it to them because I dragged them to the midnight HP6 showing.

So do I. 'Said' is extremely common, doesn't imply any sort of emotion. Something like 'announced' or 'exclaimed', that implies some type of emotion in the speech.

Twilight is evil, no offence to anyone who likes it. It's just... I don't see what's so great about it. Stephanie Meyer can't write worth sh*t (IMO!!! DX), VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE, she always tries to ignore the word "said" whenever people talk, VAMPIRE'S DON'T SPARKLE, Edward and Bella are nothing but a bunch of Mary/Gary Sues, VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE, and the fangirls are a bunch of obsessed tweens who think they'll find the perfect "Edward" in their life and will try to murder you if you even say that the book is boring. AND VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE!!! D8<

And Dracula can kick Edward's sparkly arse any day of the week. ^__^

Rant over. >___>;

o lol. How can a book be evil?

I've been told I look like Kristen Stewart. Urrrghh...

lol In my eyes, books about "romance" and sparkly "vampires" who're vegetarians are evil. The Twilight books are brainwashing stupid lame preteens into thinking they're "OMG IM LIEK SO POPULAR!!!1! EDWARDS REEL AND HES MY BF AND U CANT HAVE HIM!!!"

Don't blame it on the books, blame it on the premature fanbase that needs to grow up. Also you'll find rabid fangirls in any fandom, not just Twilight.

Not every series.

As I said in my rant before, the Harry Potter fans aren't *as* rabid. At least they keep-to, you know?

I choose novels that nobody is a fan of. I prefer more adult novels anyway, like the Pretty Little Liars books and My Sister's Keeper. Frankly, any of Jodi Picoult's books.

Nineteen Minutes is a must read if you hate Twilight!
I wanna see 13 Hours, which is the movie based off of NM, but it's rated R. Oh, well! Tom Felton is bloody and shirtless in the film

Harry Potter fans? Aren't rabid? You be trollin'.
Harry Potter is just as bad as Twilight, but I respect your opinion.

I wanna go see New Moon (even though I hate the Twilight saga) just to sit there with my friends and make stupid comments on it, talk all through the film.
I know that seems really immature, but I have money to spend and I wanna see how many people make complaints about us.
I doubt I'll get in though, there'll be too many fangirls, and I'll drown. D8
But still. Wanna see what clumbsy miss Bella does this time.

I've never actually seen the film or read the books, but tbh im not really that intersted. Theres too much hype about it now and it kinda puts me off~over obsessed fan girls grrr... I heard that Jodelle Ferland who plays Sharon in Silent Hill is gonna be in the 3rd movie I think? She is in my fave film, so i'd like to see if she is any good, but still other than not i'm not relly that bothered by it.

I WAS a Twi-Hard. Until I watched 'The Catalog -OR- I Want To Beat Edward Cullen With A Stick!'
Now I know everything that's wrong with it.
I mean, come on.
'EDWARD KISSES HER AND HER HEART *LITERALLY* STOPS! *Facepalms*'
You can watch it here.
It's funny. Ish. (;

Laura Shadow: I meant they aren't as CRAZY! Like what Pumpkinprincess typed a few pages ago, I don't think that Harry Potter fans would claw their necks to make it look like Edward bit them. Just sayin'.

I honestly DO NOT wanna see New Moon. I got rid of all my Twilight crap from Hot Topic and replaced it with my old HP stuff. BTW: the Twilight stuff from Hot Topic ripped so easily I re-sewed my Carlisle tee three times. The Harry Potter stuff is of much betetr quality.

That's because Edward Cullen is a character in Twilight, not Harry Potter, you silly.
