Here is a life size sculpture I did of Jack Skellington as the scarecrow. It's sculpted out of foam rubber. I made it for a friends Halloween Party. Hope everyone likes..

Scarecrow Jack!

Attack a old Couch Cushion.. the Foam inside of it that is.. Draw out what you want to try to make with a sharpie.. and then attack with a Electric Kitchen Knife.. Scissors, box knife and see what you can come up with.. It can be a lot of fun

Oh boy, double posting, not good!

You might want to try to delete just one of those posts, just so you won't get in trouble, okay?

Ragdoll, Pumpkinghost thank you very much!!

RachelF19, you want to build a lifesize one.. or a miniature? I know I'd love to make a life size sleigh, but right now I don't have the materials.. It's really easy to spend a lot making one of these large projects.. plus at the moment, I don't have anywhere to store the big ones.. A small one, about the size of the original one from the movie is much more easier to do..

If you do want to make a big one, get a piece of polystyrene foam (pink installation foam - you can get it from home depot.. if it's purple - keep looking that stuff is way to dense).. and try carving it.. you can even sand it.. try making perhaps one of antlers from the deer.. or just try making it look like wood.. This is what i would of used.. might be best to start off with a small project when first starting out with this stuff.. perhaps a grave stone.. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to help! Just write me on here and ask..

Right now i'm making a small sculpt.. saw a sketch up on the Tim Burton moma site.. of one his sketches of a monster.. I just had to sculpt it.. it's this poor tortured monster who has a antenna like one of those fish with a light on their head.. but with fake little people hanging from it.. well, he's convinced they are not fake and seems to be really hungry and can't reach them.. poor thing.. here is a pic of my sculpt of the sketch..

Plus, i've got a few commissions I'm working on that I have to get shipped out before christmas. After that, I could make a small sleigh and post it on here.. [/img]
