Another one of my favourites...oh what the hell ..I love them all.
This film is just great, some fantastic actors in it, my favourite part is the ending. I'd really love some icons from this movie but I can't seem to find many!

Pictures? Comments? Thoughts?

I love Big Fish. Miracle, even your mother can't say Big Fish is a bad movie. It's about the relationship between a Father and Son through stories. And how the son feels like his Father is a joke, and doesn't really appreciate him.

That leaves one question, then...

Why is it called big fish, then?

You know how fisherman tell stories about the biggest fish they caught? Well, the Father tells many crazy stories about his life and that's why the son resents him since he thinks his whole life is a fairy tale. Thus, Big Fish.

It is such a great movie. This movie makes me cry at the end too. Or maybe I am just emotional! Haha. I plan on getting this on DVD as well.

i have the film on vhs, i recommend that it is one of tim burtons classic materpieces. also one ofmy personal tim burton favorites for myself.

imdb lists:

Quote:
The story revolves around a dying father and his son, who is trying to learn more about his dad by piecing together the stories he has gathered over the years. The son winds up re-creating his father's elusive life in a series of legends and myths inspired by the few facts he knows. Through these tales, the son begins to understand his father's great feats and his great failings.

Summary written by Anonymous

This film follows the incredible life of Edward Bloom, through a series of flashbacks that begin when his son Will visits him for the last time. Edward is dying of cancer, and Will hasn't spoken to him for years because he believes him to be a liar that never really cared for his family. As Edward's story unfolds once again, Will tries to finally understand the truth about who his father really was...

THAT WAS THE WORST MOVIE EVER! IT WAS SO STUPID! GOD ... I FELL ASLEEP DURING THE MOVIE BECAUSE IT WAS SO BORING! IT THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE A GREAT MOVIE BUT NO IT WAS BORING AS WATCHING A LIFELESS CAT. Opps ... sorry caps lock ... well that what I think ... but you must admit the stories were somewhat boring then there was a fish in the pool. Some things wrong with a fish in the pool:

1) Fish can not live in pools as they are filled with a STRONG base that would kill them in less then a minute (trust me I have tried)
2) How could the fish get there in the first place!
3) Who would want to be in a pool?

That alone made no sense ...

This is my opinion but still I hope you see my view ...

How old are you again?

Cause you've obviously missed the entire point of the movie.

I agree with Naz on that. Why don't you try watching the movie again and listening to what is actually going on. You may understand it better.
