All I wanna know is what is your favorite songs from all of Tim Burton's moives. You can choose to pick from any movie, and you have to say your favorite part in the movie that you chose the song out of. Have fun!

CB- tears to shed, cause it expresses Emily's feelings quite clearly, remains of the day comes in at a close second. my favorite part was when Emily gives Victor the remains of Scraps

TNBC- what have i done, because it's when jack has his revelation. my favorite part was when Jack delivers his toys to all grls and boys

This is Halloween. I love how Jack catches himself on fire (as PK/scarecrow).

I like all the songs you guys named. My ABOUSTE FAVORITE song is Tears To Shed. I just think its sounds cool. Its all dark and gloom and what I hate most or it is when the worm and spider sing "If he only knew how special you could be, if he only knew you like we know"!!! I'm sry to say it, but would sound alot better if it didn't have it so....whats the word I'm lookin' for....oh yea....cheerfully

I like Violet Beauregarde, and I think it's perfect example of Elfman's genius and Tim Burton's essence for 1 reason:

The original movie (which was a raped version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), called Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, had songs which had nothing to do with the kids or the plot. They spit on Roald Dahl when they made that movie, by first removing his control over the script and giving it to Gene Wilder (read Dahl's surviving wife's interview, she explains it), and then by having someone else write new lyrics for his songs.

Tim Burton wanted it done right, and he knew Danny Elfman could do it. And sure enough, Danny figured out a way to make Dahl's lyrics match music that fit each spoiled rotten child.

Making any of the lyrics that Dahl wrote fit to music is an accomplishment in and of itself.

Violent's song I think captured Burton's essence/movie, Dahl's lyrics and it had a pretty nice range, allowing Danny to do whatever he wanted.
